Who is This is EventoS? A reflective piece…
I remember when I first drew the logo for This is EventoS. I was sitting in Detroit during my ‘Around the World in 80 Events’ trip in 2019. I knew I wanted to build a company that was going to change the world of customer experience analysis. It was going to be a company like no other! For sure, still got that drive, but a lot happened in that time.
I sit currently with training packages that I have written - thinking and scribbling out - where does This is EventoS go next…where will This is EventoS be in 10 years time? Every entrepreneur and business owner knows - the dynamic factors of an ever changing business landscape can throw those 10 year plans out of the window! Its now 2023 and since the drawn of the logo - a lot has happened in the world. But the one thing that has happened is the desire for everyone to be part of a journey.
Currently, the company, is a one person machine (with at times the most amazing support from a few people who just keeps everything on the tracks of completion). A fun machine that wants to be at the forefront of conversation. Always considering what is possible but always thinking about tomorrow.
This is EventoS has a whole story behind it. From values and mission statements to the fact that ‘EventoS’ is written like that because I broke down the word to create a funky journey. It goes like this…EventoS:
vent - means ‘to breath…’
E - means excellent…
S - means service…
o - just joined the party.
And the circle looping everything meaning - We
Overall, EventoS means - we breath excellent service….which is the mantra of all the training programs that we deliver. But more than that - it is the grounding for our future.
I wanted to write this blog because its important to be real when building a company…so in 2, 5 or 50 years time - I want this crazy idea with the circle through a word that means Events in Spanish - to be a success not just for me, but for the team that will be built and for the impact we can have on society (more about that one day).
