In 2019, the eventos journey began - built on fresh thinking, creativity, and a drive to design better experiences. From the very beginning, we believed customer experience is more than operations. It’s crafted touchpoint by touchpoint with care, imagination, and purpose. Whether that’s an experience at a major event or a customer service telephone call.

An experience starts the moment someone chooses to engage with an organisation. Every detail matters - every interaction shapes how people connect, feel and remember.

That’s why at eventos, the detail * matters. We think differently. We reimagine engagement, challenge the expected, and create experiences that are better, bigger, bolder, and more meaningful.

Matthew Lamb, Founder

After seven years of sole trading, Matthew evolved his work into a limited company - one designed to not only meet client needs but to take them in bold, exciting new directions.

Based in Glasgow, with a virtual office in the city centre, the company is rooted locally but built with a global outlook.

Matthew is also the author of Around the World in 80 Events. In 2019, he travelled to 80 events across 26 countries in just eight months and two weeks, attending or volunteering at each one. Along the way, he took part in over 160 meetings with tourism boards, event bodies, and venues worldwide.

That experience became both a book and a resource, offering readers a rare, behind-the-scenes perspective on the dynamics of global events and customer experiences. It’s this unique insight that now fuels eventos: building an organisation dedicated to creating experiences that inspire, connect, and last.
