BLR appointed Matthew as a trainer to deliver 5,000 hotel staff of all different levels of staff management from all corners of Qatar. From Directors to Bell Boys and Kitchen Interns to Hotel Managers – the training allowed each participant to understand the role they have to deliver Qatar Tourisms vision of welcoming the world.
Each day the three-and-a-half-hour training session twice a day was more than a training session – it was a production. A production that allowed each participant to feel part of an exciting journey. For six weeks Matthew used every inch of his energy and passion to deliver content to over 200 people every day. To allow the key elements and ideas of customer service was critical but on top of this was to really allow the participants to understand ‘who are they in the journey of Qatar’.
